Sometimes nothing can compare to grabbing a mouth watering slice of pizza, while reading your favorite manga, novel, playing some videogames, or watching TV.
Although there are countless recipes regarding pizza, I decided to start with this, simply because these were the only ingredients I had left in the fridge (boyo, someone’s gotta rush to the groceries anytime soon).
With just these few simple steps, you will be shown how to make one of the easiest pizza recipes ever and make it vegan!
-1 ½ active dry yeast
-½ cup cold water
-2 cups all purpose flour
-¼ warm water
-1½ tablespoon olive oil
-2 tablespoons salt
-6 small mushrooms
-150g of your favorite vegan cheese
-1 green belly pepper
-1 teaspoon sugar
-2 teaspoons black pepper (spice)
HOW TO MAKE IT:
It’s better to start with the difficult tasks if you want to feel a sense of relaxation later on! For this reason, we’ll start with the dough! So off we go! Mix the yeast with the warm water in a bowl and leave it there for 10 minutes.
Grab the oil, the remaining salt and half of the flour and mix them into cold water. Stir well!
Mix them with the rest of the flour. To do so, you will have to add ½cup of the mixed ingredients on the remaining flour each time and then mix well.
Knead it well for 10 minutes and set aside for 15 minutes, covering it with a towel.
That’s enough time for you to look after your vegan tomato sauce! Take 2 tomatoes and melt them into a blender. Add 2 teaspoons of salt and 1 glove of garlic, while melting them, as these will make your sauce get tasty!
Get back to your dough and shape it into two balls. Let them “rest” for 1 hour.
Are we done yet? No we’re just getting started! Chop the olives into half and then chop your remaining tomato, the mushrooms and belly pepper.
This should take about 20 minutes. Preheat the oven right after finishing and wait for another 30-40 minutes.
Your dough should be ready by now! Take the two balls of dough and shape them into thin pita.
Cover the pitas with your tomato sauce, carefully, in order for the sauce not to cover the sides, otherwise you won’t be able to pick the slices up without getting your hands red of tomato sauce!
Put them into the oven and leave it for 10 minutes, or until you see the sauce getting a warmer color. Don’t overdo it, or your sauce will get burned.
Add the rest of your ingredients. I don’t know if I have already told you on any previous recipe, but I’m not a big cheese enthusiast, so the portion of the vegan cheese indicated could change according to your own tastes. If you want to add more than that, then be my guest and do so!
Put your pizzas into the oven, adding a little extra olive oil on the top of your pizza and let the vegan cheese melt well on your slices. Wait for at least 30-40 minutes.
Your vegan pizzas are ready!
